With the roster lacking in superstar talent, why not give a guy who has been creeping around the middle of the pack an opportunity? Ziggler brings all the intangibles you would want to see in a World Heavyweight Champion.
Charisma, microphone skills, in-ring ability and a solid following are some of the things you see from the best in the business.
Ziggler brings exactly that to the table.
Sheamus has proven himself to be in World Heavyweight Championship contention regardless if he loses to Ziggler at No Way Out. Sheamus will be back competing for championships sooner rather than later.The time is now for Ziggler to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
On a card that is receiving mixed reviews, having an upset in a championship match would be ideal for the pay-per-view.
Why not Ziggler over Sheamus?
If there is one upset that SHOULD take place, it would be this one. Ziggler has the potential to become a superstar, but we will never find that out if he isn't given a lengthy title reign.
And if it doesn't work, have him lose his title and get sent down to where he was.
It's a win-win situation for the company.
